In Person Private Lessons
Private Lessons will be held at our farmette in Central Virginia throughout the year. It is a great way to have individualized sessions specifically designed for you and your dog’s specific needs. It is also beneficial for people or dogs who may be anxious in group settings. These classes are also available virtually.
Group Classes
Group classes will be held at our farmette in Central Virginia throughout the year. I limit attendance to 7 dogs. This gives me the opportunity to spend quality time with each team. It is a great way to socialize your puppies or dogs , learn obedience and trick cues and make new friends (human and canine) along the way. We run two types of group classes, Puppy Manners and Adult Obedience.
In Person AKC Temperament Test at AKC Events
The AKC Temperament Test is a pass fail noncompetitive test that assesses the reaction of any breed (s) to stimuli in the human world. The Dogs are tested on the following 6 categories: social, auditory, Visual, Tactile (touch), Proprioceptive (motion), and an unexpected stimulus. The ATT is administered at an AKC Event and evaluated by an AKC certified judge/evaluator.

VIRTUAL COMPANION PUPPY CLASS
(3 months to 11 months)
The AKC Virtuall Puppy Home Manners and basic Puppy Companion behaviors and cues. This course includes:handling, basic grooming, potty training, proper equipment, come, sit down, play, stay, wait, touch, Puppy push ups, appropriate play, crate training and more!
VIRTUAL COMPANION ADULT DOG CLASS
(1 year and up)
The AKC Virtual Dog Manners PLUS Basic Adult Dog Companion Behaviors and cues. This course includes:handling, basic grroming, potty training, proper equipment, come, sit down, play, stay, wait, touch , appropriate play, crate training coming when called, using a position board, heel and heeling while walking and more!
VIRTUAL ADVANCED COMPANION DOG (must complete Virtual Puppy or Dog Class to be eligible for advanced)
This course includes Massage therapy, cooperative care, fading all lures with cues and behaviors that you and your dog learned in Virtual Puppy or Dog class, public access manners, door manners, food manners and off leash walking (when appropriate).
ULTIMATE COMPANION PACKAGE
This package includes training from Puppy through Adult. It is a stand alone package or can be used as preparation for Therapy or Service Dog Work.This package includes Virtual Puppy Manners, Adult Companion and Advanced Companion.
THERAPY DOG PREPARATION
This package includes the Ultimate Companion Package, CGC training and evaluation, Urban CGC training and evaluation, how to register your dog with a Therapy Organization, determining the type of Therapy work you and your dog will provide, temperament testing, greeting people calmly, walking around people with various equipment and obstacles, car and elevator manners, settle (great for restaurants), exposure to children, walking on different textures, maintaining balance during motion, tricks and cues related to Therapy work.
SERVICE DOG TRAINING
This course is designed specifically for your particular situation. We discuss, in detail, the tasks your dog needs to do to help you manage. It includes all the above courses plus the tasks you need which could include; retrival, balance, alerts, creating space, deep pressure therapy, walking with wheel chairs, or various other mobility eqiuipment, clearing rooms, alerting to sounds, and more.
